Spend where the soil asks for it
Acid patches get the lime they need and parts already at target get none. Often the total goes down while the correction goes up.

Services · Variable-rate lime & fertiliser
One rate across a variable land over-applies in some places and under-applies in others. We turn grid soil results into application zones and export a prescription your spreader can run.
Why it matters
Acid patches get the lime they need and parts already at target get none. Often the total goes down while the correction goes up.
Zones come from GPS grid sampling, topsoil and subsoil, not from a guess or a single composite sample.
Prescriptions are exported as shapefiles that load into John Deere, Case IH and New Holland displays.
Where a correction is larger than one pass should carry, we say so on the map rather than quietly capping it.
How we do it
1
GPS grid soil sampling, topsoil and subsoil.
2
Soil maps per element and depth, interpreted against the crop's targets.
3
Rates per zone for lime, gypsum, P and K, rounded to what the spreader can apply.
4
The next survey shows whether the correction did what it was meant to.
What you get back
Questions
We export standard shapefiles, which load into John Deere, Case IH and New Holland displays and most other rate controllers.
Often, but not always. On very variable lands the saving can be large; on uniform lands a single rate may be fine, and we'll tell you so.
If it is GPS-referenced and recent enough, yes. Otherwise we resample on a grid first.
